A Game Theory Workshop I gave for the Leiden Debating Union a while back

I gave this workshop somewhere in 2015 and probably should have uploaded it somewhere sooner. Underneath you’ll find the presentation and a link to the google drive where you should be able to download it (the red link underneath the embedded thing has the notes/remarks as powerpoint notes and the embedded presentation has them as separate slides).

I didn’t really change much to the text besides add some slides with text I said/ meant to say, but I think it will be useful to some. I remember that I was rather nervous and tired when I gave this presentation so the text version is probably strictly better than the one I gave in person…

  1. Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

    1. I’m using WordPress as you can see by looking at the domain. It has quite a few themes and widgets to choose from so you do have the possibility to stand out. You can also choose a header image which adds personality too. With WordPress, you can choose between the .org version and the .com version. I use the .com version which means WordPress takes care of all the hosting and such for me. I can’t really monetize the blog unless I pay wordpress but with my current readership, I don’t think the monetization would even pay for the hosting. Maybe in the future…

    1. This isn’t really that kind of game theory, but maybe you can use it in games with a social/diplomacy element to them. I never played on the Gamecube, I played on the PC and a little bit on PS2 and Xbox360 (but those last two were my little brother’s consoles).
